专家简介：周恒宇，博士，重庆大学副研究员。2015年博士毕业于美国纽约城市大学，先后在南京大学，中山大学做博士后。研究兴趣集中于几何测度论，极小曲面及其相关的几何和拓扑。

摘要：In this talk, we discuss the area minimzing problem in conformal cones with graphical boundaries. Its motivation is from the Plateau problem to seek minimal surfaces with prescribed boundaries via area minimizing methods. The conformal cones are certain generalizations of product manifolds, Euclidean cones. We will exhibit the connections with such area minimizing problems with the Dirichlet problem of minimal surface equations, some minimizing problems of area functionals. This talk is based on the joint work with Qiang Gao from Sun Yat-Sen University, see also arXiv:2001.06207, arXiv:2009.09813.
